Fashion Design & Academy’s mission is to engage students of all ages and backgrounds and stimulate them to innovate and develop creative designs.
The vision is for students to focus on learning and inspiring each other and to realize that their differences and similarities will help them become better designers. We want to foster professionalism, career skills and the diversity of learning.
La misión de Fashion Design & Academy es involucrar a estudiantes de todas las edades y orígenes y estimularlos a innovar y desarrollar diseños creativos. La visión es que los estudiantes se enfoquen en aprender e inspirarse unos a otros y darse cuenta de que sus diferencias y similitudes les ayudarán a ser mejores diseñadores. Queremos fomentar el profesionalismo, las habilidades profesionales y la diversidad del aprendizaje.
Meet Our Founders
Gloria Gutierrez, a native of Venezuela who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and went on to perfect her trade and pattern making skills in Colombia. Falling in love with teaching giving back to her community and teaching she went on to become an instructor in fashion design.
Later on heading back to her home, Venezuela with the idea of starting her own academy Patrones, Modas y Tendencias, with the help of her husband. She has created designs for Teen Model Venezuela, Miss Venezuela pageant and others.
Gloria Gutiérrez, nativa de Venezuela, quien recibió una Licenciatura en Diseño de Moda y continuó perfeccionando sus habilidades en comercio y patrones en Colombia. Enamorándose de la enseñanza regresa a su comunidad y se convierte en instructorora en diseño de moda, con la idea de fundar su propia academia en Venezuela, Patrones, Modas y Tendencias, con la ayuda de su esposo.
Gloria ha creado diseños para Teen Model Venezuela, concurso Miss Venezuela y otros.
